A big thank-you to my husband Greg for getting me this far on my new blog.

I've long wanted a blog. I've wanted a place to share my thoughts, my creative ideas and things I wish I had known when I was going through my life, raising my kids, caring for aging parents and navigating a nursing career. A place not unlike "the red tent". A place where women can go to be nurtured and understood. A safe place to explore matters of the home and of the heart. A place to learn a new recipe, a new skill, a new way of looking at things, a new craft. As I learn to use this program I hope to give you a reason to pause from your busy day, pour a cup of tea or coffee and take a peek into My Crafty Life. May your days be blessed beyond measure.
